Reddit diablo 2 remaster?8/25/2023 It doesn't feel more rewarding to me to have clicked the correct little circle so now I'm able to win and don't have to repeat the first grade. When I have to go back and replay through 15+ hours of gameplay just because I hit a few wrong little bubbles on my skill tree then that's a game that doesn't respect me or my time. What I don't like is when games don't respect my time. I enjoy experimenting with strange and off the wall builds and forging my own path and coming up with my own ideas. I enjoy learning and getting better and overcoming adversity in my games. I like games that don't hold my hand and let me fail. Same thing, absolutely doesn't even slightly hold your hand. The difference is that when I make a huge mistake and fuck up in Tekken I just lose the game and I'm back in a new game trying not to fuck it up this time 20 seconds later. There are multiple whole game mechanics that are incredibly vitally important to your success and the game literally never even mentions that these mechanics exist. That game aggressively refuses to hold your hand, ties a couple of concrete blocks to your feet, and then tosses you into the Mariana Trench and tells you that you better learn how to swim quick. Its possible to make a game that doesn't hold your hand and lets you make bad decisions and fail while simultaneously not forcing you to go back and replay dozens of hours of gameplay in order to correct said mistakes. But yeah, my experience was that the skill tree was exactly as bad as it looked. So maybe the game has changed since then and the things I'm complaining about are no longer a problem. Like only a year or two after the release of PoE IIRC. That's the point that I said no thanks and stopped playing.Īnyway, this was quite a while ago. At the point you're at it'll be faster and easier to just make a whole new character than to respec." So I asked "Okay, how do I respec and fix this?" and I was basically told by everyone "lol, you don't. Anyway, point is I was having a lot of trouble progressing and so I posted asking for help and basically found out that I had skilled entirely wrong and everyone said I had basically screwed myself with the skill tree choices I had made. Something in my head wants to say around 50 hours but I think that's too long. I don't remember how long, I think it was at least 15-20 hours. When I tried playing PoE I had been playing a character for a while. IDK, in my experience it was pretty much exactly as bad as it first appeared. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
